SoilPlot (place on which the observation is made) and SoilBody (part of soil body which is homogeneous) data layers have geometry and indicate soil distribution. SoilHorizon and SoilLayer indicate the designation of the soil horizon by The FAO horizon notation and physical characteristics of the soil (for example, depth of the profile element measured from surface).
